I can't speak for the rest of the list, but Robert "Supreme Commander" Trent

and Wilf "Bulldog" Leblanc are former denizens of alt.bigfoot.  Alt.bigfoot 
(aka alt.bigfool, alt.pigshit, etc.) had a long-running flame war with 
alt.flame in the pre-meow days, and they did indeed engage in the kind of 
newsgroup invasion shenanigans that "gandalf" describes.  This culminated in

the cascade-bombing of alt.bigfoot late in 1995, the debut of the 
fuckhead-foobar-netcop cascade, and the subsequent disappearance of the 
'footers.  Now alt.bigfoot is a Usenet crater, and (per Dejanews) hasn't had

a non-spam post since last February.

Alas, only Stain, Hausmann, and I remain to tell the tale.
